A European native that has been one of most popular and successful grasses in So Cal gardens. Proven to be reliable in a variety of uses and situations. Rich green, cascading leaves form low-mounds to 2-3’ across. Numerous 2-3’ tall flower spikes top the mounds in spring and summer. Sun or part shade, most any soils regular water to very dry. Reseeds heavier in regularly watered gardens. Hardy to 0°.
