A clumping warm season grass noted for its spectacular flowering panicles in summer and fall.  The numerous flower spikes produce masses of airy, fine-textured inflorescence creating a pink to pinkish-red cloud-like effect, especially when backlit with sunlight.  Full sun, regular to little water when mature.  Cut back hard in winter.  Very showy accent plant and quite stunning in full bloom when planted in masses.  Deer resistant.  Hardy to 15°
