Native of the high deserts of SW United States. Narrow, gray-green foliage creates mounds to 2 1/2’ tall. Produces a symmetrical dome of numerous thin, straight flower spikes a foot above the foilage. Full sun, regular to very little water needs. Thrives in hot, dry weather, also tolerant of a wide range of soils. The crown is sensitive, be extra careful not to plant too deep. Reportedly deer resistant. Hardy to 10°.
