Native from Eastern Europe, forms tidy, low mounds 8” tall, up to 2’ wide. Uniquely bicolored leaves create tidy, two toned mounds. Reliable in borders or small groupings. Can stay clean looking with very little maintenance. Full sun, light shade, best with well drained soil, moderately drought tolerant. Avoid hot, inland areas. Hardy to 15°.
